Five Blades, Two Handles, One System
VAUGHAN Bear Saw pull saws cut on the pull stroke instead of the push, which keeps the blade from buckling and binding. The thinner blade removes less material for easier, faster, more accurate cuts. Pick the blade for the job, and swap it when it wears.
Which Bear Saw for Which Job
Coarse/Medium (BS333C): The aggressive cutter. 13 in blade at 9 TPI for framing, pruning, treated lumber, laminates, logs and timbers.
Medium/Fine (BS265M): The all-rounder. 10-1/2 in blade at 14 TPI for plywood, particle board, molding and 2x4s.
Double Edge (BS250D): Two edges on one 10 in blade, 18 TPI and gradated, for dovetails, moldings, particle board, flush cuts and plywood.
Extra Fine (BS240P): 8-3/8 in blade at 17 TPI for PVC and ABS pipe, flush cuts, particle board and plywood.
Double Edge Mini (BS150D): A 5-1/2 in double-edged blade, 17 and 21 TPI, for dovetails, moldings, flush cuts, plywood and particle board in tight spots.
Rebuild It. Don't Toss It.
When a blade wears out, replace the blade, not the saw. Every Bear Saw blade fits either handle style, curved or straight, and replacement blades and handles are sold separately. The saw also breaks down for storage.
Tri-Edge Teeth
Specialty-ground, tri-edged teeth are impulse hardened to hold their edge. Blades are durable spring steel, plated for rust resistance.

Why cut on the pull? Pulling instead of pushing prevents the blade from buckling and binding, so the blade can be thinner and remove less material for easier, faster, more accurate cuts.
Will any blade fit my handle? Yes. Any Bear Saw blade style fits either Bear Saw handle style, curved or straight.
What do I do when a blade wears out? Replace the blade, not the saw. Every blade style is sold as a replacement. Part numbers are in the table above.
Can I replace the handle? Yes. Replacement handles are sold separately.
Can I take it apart for storage? Yes. The saw is easily disassembled.
Will the blade rust? Blades are durable spring steel, plated for rust resistance.
