Do not fill blender jar beyond the 3-Cup (710-ml) level. Tips & care for the best performance: The minimum amount of liquid needed per recipe is one cup (8 oz/250 ml). If using this blender for shakes and smoothies, add more liquid if your mixture is not blending properly to ensure smooth consistency. To add food or liquid to the blender when operating, open the hinged pouring cap and add ingredients through the opening. If blending action stops during blending or ingredients stick to sides of jar, there may not be enough liquid in the jar to blend efficiently.

Will this blender crush ice?
Yes! This blender easily crushes ice and frozen fruit. For best blending performance, include at least 1 cup of liquid (or enough to cover the blades).
Are the blades removable for cleaning?
Yes, the blades are removable from the glass jar for easy cleaning. Simply turn the collar counterclockwise to release the blades from the jar. Wash in hot, soapy water or place in the top rack of the dishwasher.
Is there a trick for getting the lid on and off easily?
To install lid, align pour spouts on the jar & lid. Press down on the spout side first, then press down evenly on the opposite side of the lid (near the jar handle). To remove the lid, press up on edge of lid near the handle.
What should I do if the blender smells hot or overheats?
Turn off the blender and remove the jar from the base. Turn the blender back on and run without the jar for 30 seconds (the fan will cool the motor). Let blender sit for 10 minutes, then use as normal.
When making smoothies, which ingredients should go in the blender first?
Add liquid or yogurt first, followed by powder supplements, ice, greens, frozen fruit and hard seeds.
